As recognized experts in orthopaedics in the region since 1988, we are dedicated to offering the specialized, compassionate orthopaedic care the residents of Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Crestview, and the surrounding areas need to become stronger.
From the ankle, knee, and hip to the shoulder, elbow, and wrist, our doctors are considered experienced experts and specialize in providing high-quality orthopaedic treatment. Our specialists treat every bone, joint, muscle, tendon, and ligament injury and condition, including fractures and sports injuries, as well as musculoskeletal and spine disorders in adults and children, including scoliosis and arthritis.
At our three state-of-the-art clinics in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, and Crestview, our doctors offer the latest and most advanced sports medicine and orthopaedic care. We also offer our patients access to a comprehensive continuum of care through our on-site services, such as casting, durable medical equipment, MRI, orthobiologics, Orthopaedic Urgent Care, Osteoporosis Clinic, physical therapy, surgery centers, ultrasound, and X-rays.
In addition to our dedication to providing our patients with individualized patient care, we are also committed to serving our local communities. As part of this dedication, we proudly support and provide sports medicine care for Fort Walton Beach High School, Choctawhatchee High School, South Walton High School, and Niceville High School as their school's team doctors.

Specializing in over a dozen different orthopaedic specialties, including joint replacement and revision, and sports medicine, our doctors and surgeons offer experienced surgical and nonsurgical care. Here, you will receive the patient care, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation you need. We have orthopaedic doctors for any musculoskeletal problem: lower extremities—ankle, foot, knee, and hip—the upper extremities—shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist—as well as the spine.

When developing a treatment plan, our orthopaedic surgeons and doctors will always recommend trying nonsurgical treatment options first before suggesting surgery. If a surgical treatment plan is recommended, rest assured that our surgeons are highly skilled in orthopaedic surgery, including joint replacement, reconstructive surgery, and spine, ankle, and wrist surgery.
Treating every orthopaedic deformity, joint problem, and trauma injury, our orthopaedic surgeons have undergone extensive surgical training to offer the latest evidence-based and most advanced surgeries. This includes minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, complex spine surgery, and robotic-assisted joint replacement.

Darren Harris, MBA
Darren Harris, MBA, brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience to his role as Executive Director of Orthopaedic Associates. He is dedicated to advancing patient care, strengthening physician partnerships, and driving sustainable growth across the organization.
Before joining Orthopaedic Associates, Darren served in executive leadership roles with Bone & Joint Institute of Tennessee, OrthoCarolina, and EmergeOrtho—three highly respected orthopaedic organizations known for clinical excellence and innovation. His leadership is grounded in a commitment to operational efficiency, team development, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Darren holds an MBA in healthcare administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University. Originally from Nashville, he now calls Destin home. He is a proud father of three daughters and one son and enjoys mountain biking, boating, and exploring the outdoors with his family.
