My Comeback Story: Charles M.

Charle's Comeback
Easier than anticipated

At age 79, I was very apprehensive about having my knee replaced, but I felt I had no other option. My options were to limp around in pain for the remainder of my life or have my arthritic knee replaced. Knowing what a great surgeon Dr. Tenholder is, I opted for a total knee replacement - at it was a great decision.  I walked into the hospital for surgery and walked out the same day with a new knee, very little pain, and a really good range of motion in that new knee. I am now eight weeks out of surgery and doing everything I want to do without the pain I once endured from that knee. If I overdo it, I get a little swelling, but that is just feedback. I am very glad I overcame my fears and had the knee surgery.
