Orthopaedic Associates Welcomes Dr. Nicholas Pilla

Fellowship-trained hand surgeon Nicholas I. Pilla, M.D., will join Orthopaedic Associates Sept. 2. Dr. Pilla is an expertly trained surgeon offering care for the hand, wrist and elbow and will be available to see patients in Fort Walton Beach at 1034 Mar Walt Drive, in Destin at 36474C Emerald Coast Parkway, Suite 3101, in Niceville at 554-D Twin Cities Blvd. and in Crestview at 5300 S. As a fellowship-trained orthopaedic hand surgeon, Dr. Pilla specializes in treating injuries and conditions of the hand and upper extremity. He focuses on restoring function, relieving pain and improving quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care. His expertise includes:

Dr. Pilla earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey. He then went on to Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he completed an orthopaedic surgery residency. Dr. Pilla then furthered his training, undergoing a hand fellowship at Baptist Health South Florida and Florida International University in Coral Gables.
